Jess and Mel are monster hunters on a mission: get paid and try to stay alive long enough to spend it. Sadly, life is anything but simple for this dynamic duo. Were-beasts, carnivorous plants, and a host of monsters lurk around every corner just waiting to sink their claws in. If that wasn't bad enough, there's always the rent. Love lorn and languishing, Jess turns to online dating to spice up her after-hours life. Mel discovers the app and takes charge. In short order, the big woman has her parter-in-monster-hunting set up for a nice meet-and-greet with a lovely young motel owner. It certainly looks like everything is coming up Jess, but before long she discovers proprietor's deceased spouse might not be overly keen on being replaced. So Jess does what any sane monster hunter would do… She exorcises her options. Still, there's more than a ghostly love triangle at stake. Something's not quite right about this motel with its sparklingly clean rooms and bevy of awards… The real question is are either of them going to stay alive long enough to see it?
